Stores reference 22c/917-924. The wartime 'escape' pattern flying boot. Unknown size, measuring roughly 28cm from toe to heel which I think may make them about a '7'. The suede uppers are very good with only light rubbing and soiling and both buckles/straps are excellent. Fitted with good working War Department broad arrow marked 'Lightning' zips. The shoe sections on each boot are very good to excellent, each with unusual but original stitched Avon soles/heels. Minor moulting to the fur linings around the top edge and adjacent to the zip but they are generally very good and complete with insoles. A very good used pair. Stock code B26859.
