Stores reference 22c/917-924. The wartime 'escape' pattern flying boot. Unknown size, measuring roughly 30.5cm from toe to heel so perhaps an '8'? The suede uppers are very good with only light rubbing and soiling. Very good straps/buckles. The War Department broad arrow marked 'W' zip on the right boot is very good but the other zip has lost some teeth near the top. It can be zipped from below this damage to the bottom and this enables the boot to be worn or placed on a mannequin. Indeed, the previous owner used them for re-enactment/photo shoots. The shoe sections are generally very good but the heel section of the right boot has been squashed and has surface damage as shown. The boots are fitted with their original leather soles and heel plates. The fur linings have average even soiling. Without insoles. A few issues but still a good/good '+' used pair. Stock code B25458.
