Stores reference 22c/917-924. The wartime 'escape' pattern flying boot. Unknown size, measuring roughly 29.5cm from toe to heel which I think may make them about a '8'. The suede uppers are very good with only light rubbing and soiling and both buckles/straps are excellent. Fitted with good working War Department broad arrow marked 'Lightning' zips. The shoe sections on each boot are very good bar light scuffing and surface nicks near the toes. They have original (worn) stitched leather soles and heelplates. The linings are generally very good - a bit soiled and one has very minor moulting at the top edge. No insoles fitted. A very good used pair. Stock code B26858.
