Stores reference 22c/917-924. The wartime 'escape' pattern flying boot. Quite small, measuring roughly 28cm from toe to heel (externally). The suede uppers are excellent with only a little rubbing and soiling. Both 'W' branded zips are excellent, one War Department broad arrow marked, the other Air Ministry. The black leather shoe sections are generally excellent bar minor wear as shown in the photographs. The boots retain their original stitched leather soles and heelplates. The fur linings appear very good with only light even soiling. Complete with insoles. The only small negative is that the non buckled side of the strap on the right boot has been replaced at some point. Please note that the 'spots' visible on some of the images are not present on the boots and the result of a lighting/lens aberration. A very good '+' used pair. Stock code B23775.
