USAAF A-10 'Type' Intermediate Flying Gloves

USAAF A-10 'Type' Intermediate Flying Gloves

Code: GA13252

SOLD

Unknown size. This pair of gloves appear to be a privately purchased commercial version of the classic five-finger seal brown goatskin leather A-10 glove that was standardized in 1938 and used throughout the war. This pair is constructed from thicker hide and the knitted wristlet is larger and of coarser stitch. Lined with blanket/wool fleece.

The leather is in good condition showing light wear/use only. The wristlets are a bit soiled and there are fray holes at the ends but no moth damage. A section of the wristlet has come unstitched (approx. 4cm) from the glove. The linings are soiled and show age. Good used overall. Unlabelled. Half the price of an equivalent marked pair. Stock code GA13252.
