USAAF electrically heated flying gloves

By Fox Chase Knitting Mills Inc. (I. Miller Parachute Division).  Size 9.  For use with the F-2 & F-3 electrically heated flying suits.  Developed between November 1942 & September 1943.  Seal brown leather 5-finger glove with a twin layer knitted wool lining containing the wiring & 2 press-stud connectors to fasten to the suits.  Elasticated insert at the wrist & single press-stud adjustment on the cuff.  U.S.A.A.F. labelled.  The leather is in beautifully soft supple and clean condition showing virtually no use or wear.  The linings are excellent bar a coupleof small holes - possibly where joined together when new?  Essentially these appear unused.  Extremely rare gloves in this condition.  Stock code GA17426.
