Approx. 3cm span. Screw backed enamelled brass/gilt metal 'wings' badge for an Observer of the A.W.S. The USAAF Aircraft Warning Service enlisted civilian volunteers as 'spotters' of enemy aircraft. This lapel badge badge was worn by such volunteers. Good used condition. Stock code M18752.
