'Silver' / white metal identity bracelet comprising an elongated oval and gold plated (?) expanding bracelet. The main section (approximately 40 x 18mm) appears to be gold/gilt 'washed' on the front, has a small pilot wing attached at the centre and is engraved 'BEN SKELTON'. Marked 'PT-22 11-20-42' to reverse and the bracelet is marked 'Tudor Bojar'. It came to us with the enlistment record for a Private 'Ben C. Skelton', the only man of that name to appear in the NARA records but he appears to have signed up in 1943? Needs more research. Very good used condition. Stock code U24993.
