Interesting and unusal large format book that makes use of clear acetate on some pages to allow cutaways, these showing the way the aircraft engine propellers were built up. It covers the distributor valve assembly, pistons and cams and the principles of hydromatic control. Hamilton Standard Hydromatic Propellers were used on countless USAAF aircraft including the B-17, B-24, B-25, A-20, A-24, P-51, C-47 etc in addition to the Lancaster and Mosquito used by the RAF.
