(With Special Reference To The P-47).  P/b, 10 x 14cm, 28p.  Restricted manual produced by the 46th Altitude Training Unit, Army Air Base, Richmond, VA.  A source of general reference concerning oxygen equipment and its use by fighter pilots; and more especially intended for  P-47 pilots.  Whilst not detailed it is more of a quick, ready reference and check sheet for the equipment used.  It covers the effects of anoxia, the need for oxygen discipline in terms of mask fit and serviceability, details of the A-14 mask, use of the regulator, the oxygen instrument panel pressure gauge, oxygen cylinder, parachute escape from alititude etc.  Not illustrated.  Very good condition.  Another extremely rare manual from a recently purchased extensive collection of 8th and 9th AAF paperwork.  Stock code P24207.
