Used to attach an oxygen mask to a flying helmet. There are three distinct patterns of these clips. All have two female press studs but this early version has a simple wire between them whereas later ones have a flat metal 'hook'. This one dates from approximately 1942 and would have been used in conjunction with the A-10 and A-10R masks. Very good used condition. A scarce example. Stock code O24222.
