Code: H28197
By Fox Chase Knitting Mills Inc. (I. Miller Parachute Division). Size large. The leather is generally in good condition, clean and supple but does have some strange 'pinched' areas where the leather appears smoother, tighter and somewhat mishaped. We believe this may have been caused by heat making the leather contract and distort as seen. This is the later war variant with a buckled rear adjustment strap (some leather loss to the edge of strap as shown) and leather reinforced oxygen mask press studs. The goggle and chin straps, the latter complete with metal end tip, are good, and the Bennett type buckle is excellent. The lining has average soiling and a small hole in one of the donuts. It is marked with an AAF ink stamp, has the manufacturer's taffeta weave label and is also numbered in ink 'L3394' and named to 'Joe Feb 27-45' and 'SANDY FEB-27-1945'. Wired with a standard 'Y' loom, matched ANB-H-1 receivers by Shure Bros. and red PL-354 jackplug. A reasonably good used example. Stock code H28197.
