By Fox Chase Knitting Mills Inc. (I. Miller Parachute Division). Size medium. The leather is a little scuffed but in very good overall condition, clean and supple with good straps and an AAF decal. Excellent Bennett type buckle and very good chinstrap. Minor cracks in the rubber earpieces (see photographs). The lining has average soiling, is marked with an AAF ink stamp and has the manufacturer's taffeta weave label. Wired with a standard 'Y' loom, matched ANB-H-1 receivers by Western Electric and red PL-354 jackplug. Fitted with a 'flat' hook/clip so it is ready to fit an oxygen mask. This helmet is the later war variant with a buckled rear adjustment strap and leather reinforced oxygen mask press studs. A very good '+' lightly used example. Stock code H28539A.
