Code: H25026
Size unknown - probably small to medium. 1/4" shearling leather with a seal brown chromed leather outer shell. It is fitted with hook attachments for the A-9 oxygen mask, later examples also had press studs for use with the A-10R or A-10A oxygen masks. The leather is in reasonably good overall condition. It remains quite supple and clean but does have a small puncture to the left side that has been patched inside and out - see photographs. Note that the extended forehead 'peak' has been replaced, hence the brighter shearling. The lining is generally good but the replaced shearling covering a small split is brighter. The chinstrap is quite worn and the shearling chin pad has been replaced. Good buckle and tightening cords. Label absent. The B-6 was officially replaced by the AN-H-16 in 1943. Not without some problems but a good display piece. Stock code H25026.
