USAAF, Oxygen Portable, Cylinder & Regulator Assembly, Low Pressure. Type A-4 cylinder fitted with a type A-13 regulator that worked on demand without manual adjustment. These relatively small 'walkaround' bottles contained 104 cubic inches / 40 litres of oxygen and allowed approxmately 6 to 8 minutes of use independent from the aircraft supply. Suitable for use with the A-9, A-10, A-10A and A-14 masks. This example has the now rarely found braced steel bottle with the original green paint finish and is in very good overall condition with 1-43 date stamp. The regulator, by The Lion Mfg. Corp., is also in good used condition complete with clothing clip and pressure gauge, but unfortunately the glass covering is shattered with some loss as shown. A great display piece. UK sales only.
