Vest, Life-Preserver, Type B-4. By Air Cruisers Inc. Date of manufacture, August 1943. The material is in reasonable condition although is has stiffened a bit. It is grubby and has some dye marker stains - mainly at the sides between the front/rear (see photos). Evidence of a dye marker pack remains (glue mark). The vest retains the securing straps but these are also stained and have some fraying. The metal clips have some vedigris deposits. Both CO2 bottle holders remain complete with screw-on covers and pull-strings. The inflation tubes/valves are present and in good flexible condition. Has various AAF stamps/inspection marks and later inspection dates. This example was procured exclusively for the AAF. Reasonable used condition. Stock code MW21033.
