RCAF B-type Flying Helmet

Canadian manufactured B-type. These differ from the standard RAF version having a different 'cut' and strap arrangement. Very soft light tan leather with a chamois lining. Zipped ear covers and with a 'split' to the rear of the helmet. Chrome plated friction buckles replace the usual Bennet buckles found on the British version. Canadian manufactured 'DOT' zips. Overall condition is excellent. Almost certainly unused and with minor storage age/marking only. A super display piece and an excellent example of this commonweath helmet. Clear Canadian acceptance stamp markings. Please not that the sponge cushions used in the earpieces for the photographs are not included in the sale.
