RAF C-type Flying Helmet - Late Pattern

Stores Ref. 22c/879, Size 3 (6^7/8 - 7) . Size is approximate as the markings are indistinct. The leather is good to very good condition - a little dry but supple and clean. No damage or serious wear. All straps are good and retain most of the original coatings on the press studs. The lining has less than average soiling and is named to the owner with other indistinct marks ' 318 ???'. The rubber receiver carriers are good but have lost some flexibility. The chinstrap is a little grubby but retains some colour and reasonably good elasticity. Fully wired with a mid tan coloured loom, matched 10A/13466 receivers and black cased bell jackplug. Overall this is a good '+' / very good used example in a decent size. Stock code H18552.
