USAAF Electrically Heated Flying Gloves

By Fox Chase Knitting Mills Inc. (I. MIller Parachute Division). Size 8.  For use with the F-2 & F-3 electrically heated flying suits. Developed between Nov. 1942 & Sept. 1943. Seal brown leather 5-finger glove with a twin layer knitted wool lining containing the wiring & 2 press-stud connectors to fasten to the suits. Elasticated insert at the wrist & single press-stud adjustment on the cuff. AAF labelled.

The leather shows use & wear - they are very supple but have a small seam split on the left glove (see photo) and a couple of small holes (see photo). The linings are generally very quite good although peppered with small moth/wear holes towards the cuffs. Extremely rare gloves. Stock code GA10203.
