USAF Senior Pilot's Uniform

'Coat, Man's, Wool Tropical, Blue, Shade AF 84'. By Foree of San Antonio. Size approx. 42" Matching trousers named to 'Wilkinson' (Approx. W32, L31). The tunic is complete with Sterling marked, clutch backed Balfour/Mayer Lieutenant Colonel rank leaves, 1/20 silver filled clutch backed 'U.S' collar dogs and clutch backed sterling marked senior pilot wing by LGB. Also comes with a matching Bancroft made Garrison cap with fitted 1/20 silver filled Lt. Col. rank badge. Finally there is a super visor cap by Flight Ace. This has a felt covered peak complete with silver bullion clouds/lightning bolts.

The whole uniform belonged to Lieutenant Colonel Paul Keith Wilkinson who was air attache to the embassy of the USA in New Zealand. Wilkinson was also a WW2 8th AAF pilot, later flying B47's with the USAF. The tunic and trousers are in excellent condition, clean and without any damage. The visor and sidecaps are both a bit grubby/dusty. Nice complete uniform. Stock code U15501.
