Marked 'Restricted' and 'For Official Use Only.' Massive tome around 3cm/ 1.25" thick. Includes a general description of the aircraft, its dimensions and leading particulars; Shipment and erection procedure; Handling and general maintenance instructions. The largest section is a breakdown of the major component parts and installations with detailed information on everything from the wings, landing gear, engine, instruments, gunnery equipment etc. There are also charts and tables, service inspection data and a US-British glossary. Illustrated throughout with superb drawings and some photos.

The cover is very poor with soiling, creasing and loss of paper. The pages are dog-eared and soiled in parts with some small edge tears and bent corners etc. That said, the manual is readable and generally sound. Could be put into a ring binder to help protect it. A superb reference work with fantastic information and a godsend to anyone interested in the Mustang or lucky enough to own one! A fascinating insight into this fabulous aircraft. Stock code P18595.
