Army Air Forces Silhouette Model. Scale 1:72, Ref. No. CM-607, Dated 2/22/43. Produced by the AAF Aircraft Identification Section, Washington DC. Model of an AAF A-30 / Baltimore medium bomber produced in “flat-pack” style in thick black card. All the components (13) are pre-cut/shaped and simply require pressing out and slotting together – full instructions are on the brown paper envelope. The paper packet shows some staining. The model is completely unmade (some pieces a little loose) and although a little dusty/stained is in very good condition. Lovely item, seldom seen. Stock code M14294.
