RAF Type F Helmet Strap

Strap, Neck Adjustment, Elastic (For Helmet, Type F).  Stores ref. 22c/1397.  Blue grey elastic strap with male press tud fasteners at each end.  Slide adjuster to alter size/length.  These were fitted to the inside of the fabric helmet at the back of the neck and used to ensure a good fit.  Later type G helmets had a permanently fitted fabric strap with friction slide buckle instead.  Unissued new old stock.  Excellent replacements or spares.  Small quantity available.  Priced individually.
