Small loops of blue grey coloured elastic, each with a female press stud fastening attached. These were used to enable the use of the MK.VIII flying goggle with the MK.1 Bonedome. The loops were slipped over the goggle strap thus allowing the strap to be held in position over the helmet. The short lived MK1 bonedome was soon modified as the MK.1A which included an integral visor. As goggles were only used with postwar bonedomes for a short period of time these loops are now quite rare to find. One loop requires restitching otherwise in good order.
