Manufactured by the parachute division of the Highstown Rug Co., New Jersey. Part No. 43J26404. Group 2 'Yellow' pack for the quick attachable chest type parachute harness. Olive drab cotton duck material with heavy webbing grab handles on 3 sides. Yellow patch sewn to the ripcord flap indicating that this is a Group 2 'Yellow' pack. Complete with steel loops for attaching to the harness. Also fitted with ripcord handle/ripcord. Marked with part numbers, serial number and clear September 1944 manufacture date. The pack itself is empty (stuffed for photographing only). It still has the parachute log book (AAF Form 46) marked with correct/matched serial number and for late 1945 & early 1946. Light soiling and wear but in excellent used condition overall. Stock code S19627.
