RAF Type 54 Adaptors For D-Masks

The 'type 54' rubber adaptor allowed the Type D oxygen mask to be used with the types 26 (electro magnetic) and 28 (carbon) microphones normally associated with the later E & G oxygen masks. We have a small number of these adaptors. The condition is not good and can probably be best described as 'relic'. They are somewhat mishaped, have hardened and are also grubby with some minor loss of rubber at the edges. It might be possible to clean these up a bit and we have had some success in the past in reshaping these using hot water but any remedial work is carried out at your own risk! Photo nos. 9 - 13 inclusive shows one of these rings in place on an original type D mask. This type 54, mask etc are not included in the sale. Now extremely rare to find we are offering these at a very low price so that you can fill a gap in your collection. The adaptors are priced individually.
