R.A.F. Navigator's Bag

The classic, ultra rare light green holdall used to carry all the Navigator's charts, chartboard, parallel rules, pencils, protractors, compasses etc. Approx. 50 x 50 cm with flapped pockets to both sides and two carrying handles. Manufacturer's marks, war department broad arrow and 1944 date to one side. The heavy cotton canvas is generally very clean but there is some soiling and fading, particularly at the ends of the bag (see photos). Note the minor colour variation on the photos where sections of the inside of the bag can be seen against the outer parts. No damage, holes or repairs and in very good solid/strong condition. Quite possibly unused. These bags are highly sought after and rarely turn up. The first we have had in a year. Stock code M18787.
