Celestial Navigation and use of sextants, astrocompasses etc. 4. Tactical Operations - crew coordination, effects of high altitude, oxygen equipment, vision at night, procdure on a combat bombing mission etc. 5. Crew Duties - bombardier, radio operator and gunners. 6. Navigation Weather - weather symobols, weather recorder, navigational and tactcial uses of clouds etc. 7. Emergencies - exits, forced landings, ditching, parachutes, pyrotechnic pistols, smoke grenades, vest-type emergency kit, life preserver vest, life rafts etc. Approx. 236p in total. Illustrated with photographs, diagrams and charts throughout. Loose-leaf format with puched pages inserted into a card cover. The notebook/cover was custom made for this file and bears an illustrated paste-on title panel on the front cover. Shows use and wear with some damage to the cover spine otherwise in good used condition. Very interesting and useful. Stock code P19079.
