Sheet @APOS@Zones of France@APOS@. Second Edition. Large single sided colour silk/rayon map, approx. 55 x 55cm. 1 : 2000,000. With inset of frontiers. This was the map issued to troops on D-day as well as to RAF aircrew. Marked I.S.9 (WEA) MAR 44. Raw/unhemmed edges. The map is a little soiled but does retain quite strong colour. The edges are a bit ragged in places and there are a number of small holes/frayed areas (see photos). These do not detract too much as none are large. Folded/creased. This is the map that everyone wants! Stock code E18081.
