Luftwaffe Officers' Belt

Brown leather belt with grey painted double pronged pebble grained buckle. The belt in stamped @APOS@VIII@APOS@ and the buckle @APOS@RZM M5/140@APOS@, denoting the maker as Wilhelm Schroder & Co., Ludenscheid. The leather is in good strong condition. It has normal wear and marking/scuffing but no serious issues. The buckle has loss to the paint finish but no damage. Holes punched make this suitable for sizes between approximately 32 and 38@SPEACH@. This was worn with the Tuchrock (service dress tunic) for flying duties pre 1940 and as a standard dress item after that date. They are often seen in period photos, being worn with a variety of kit including Fliegerbluse, leather jackets, @APOS@Channel@APOS@ suits etc. Stock code U18949.
