Stores Ref. 27P/7. Approx. 11 x 8.5 x 2.8cm. Gilt metal box - much like an old tobacco tin. Printed with A @APOS@Crown@APOS@ M to lid and with contents list to the base. Contains Barley Sugar Sweets, Chewing Gum, Malted Milk Tablets and Energy Tablets. The inside of the lid will be printed with instructions for use. The tin has surface corrosion to the base but all text is reasonably legible. Retains remnants of the original tape seal - this has been split in places but the tin has not been opened. These rations were officially issued as part of the dinghy survival kit but saw wider distribution. Rare to find with contents. Stock code S14992.
