SOLD

Code: SOLD-861

Stores ref. 22c/53. Size 5. One-piece fur fleece fabric liner that buttons inside the 1930 pattern @APOS@Sidcot@APOS@ suit for extra warmth. Often referred to as the @APOS@Teddy Bear@APOS@ suit. One small tear near close to the side pocket/vent (very easy to repair), otherwise in very good used condition. The label is missing but well A.M. King@APOS@s Crown stamped and with A.I.D markings too. Quite a rare find these days. Apparanty this belonged to Group Captain Bryant-Fenn DFC who flew in the Battle of Britain as a F/O with 79 Squadron (Hurricanes). He shared one kill (He59 floatplane) and was forced to bale out after combat with BF109s over Biggin Hill. By late 1942 he was a Flight Commander with 264 Squadron at Colerne. Unfortunately it is not actually named to him. Stock code S14510.
