No size markings but appears to be a 4 (largest produced). Intended for use in tropical/desert climates in the Middle East, Mediterranean, North Africa etc and incorporating a neck flap at the rear to provide sun protection. The material is in in very good to excellent condition and is reasonably clean. Good straps with three of the four press studs retaining virtually all of their original coatings. Some verdigris present on external press studs. The rubber receiver carriers are very good/undamaged but lack full flexibility. The satin lining has average soiling and some small holes where the press studs have pulled through (see photos). The inner donuts - in this helmet chamois, show more rubbing and soiling. The chinstrap is faded, soiled and lacks elasticity. The helmet is fully wired with a light tan loom, early brown jackplug and receivers. A good solid helmet. Stock code H16838.
