RAF 1941 Pattern Mae West Bladder (Stole)

SOLD

Code: SOLD-477

Stores ref. 22c/72. Grey rubberized cotton stole for the @APOS@41 pattern Mae West. The material is generally very good and flexible/undamaged although it some staining. The oral inflation tube is also quite flexible and the valve opens and closes freely. The rubber around the inflation lever/CO2 bottle attachment point is quite hard at the edges and has some cracking but this does not affect the rest of the bladder in any way. There is no inflation lever or CO2 bottle fitted. Broad arrow/War Department marked and dated 6/45. Later inspection dates also stamped. I imagine this would probably still inflate but never recommend this as doing so introduces moisture and can promote internal rotting. A very good example. Stock code MW16642.
