Pale green cotton mask/hood. Held to the C-type flying helmet using the front goggle straps & press studs to the rear. Zipped to one side for a snug fit & with hole at the front to allow the oxygen tube to pass through. Excellent used condition although lightly soiled & with some verdigris on the zip. Air Ministry marked zip slider and AID marked cloth. Pictured in Mick Prodger`s Vintage headgear book, p.205. Used by rear gunners in particular although saw limited service use. Stock code H15442.
