Canopy Assembly. Drawing No. 43G14990. Serial No. A.A.F. -44-. Manufactured May 1944 by Vale of California, Inc. 24 panel high grade white silk/rayon parachute canopy. Has dye marker type staining in places. Small area of damage on panel 5 - see photo, otherwise in very good condition. Rigging lines have been removed. Well stamped and clearly dated. Ideal for display or padding out an AAF or USN parachute pack. Quite heavy. Stock code M15444.
