RCAF / RAF 1932 Pattern Mae West

R.C.A.F. Stores reference 22c/22, R.A.F. Stores reference 22c/*55 (this is for the complete garment with kapok pads and stole, the actual reference for the 'outer' being 22c/240).  Manufactured by the Dominion Rubber Company Limited.  Size Large.  The material is in excellent overall condition  retaining good colour and with only minor soiling and  stains.  Clearly stencilled with 'user' instructions to the front lobes.  Complete with excellent original chromed 'DoT' zip, original buttons and buckled straps.  This is the earlier pattern that was never fitted with leg straps.  RCAF / RAF labelled and with later 1945 inspection sate stamp.  The internal rubberisation appears to be very good and this example is not shedding yellow dust as is often the case.  An excellent example. These yellow versions are essentially the same as the ultra rare RAF green coloured 1932 pattern 'Battle of Britain' Mae West but cost significantly less. Stock code MW20148.
