RAF Type H Electrically Heated Lining

Lining, Electrically Heated Type H.  Size medium, stores reference 22c/1013.  One-piece button fronted full length suit in brown Union twill or cotton lined rayon. Fitted with a simple knitted collar The electrical supply was taken through a flexible cable (umbilical) with a 3-pin connector/plug.  A shorter cable close to the neck supplied power to an oxygen mask heater.  The suit had alternative snap connectors at the wrists and ankles to accomodate both 12 and 24 volt power supplies.  This allowed the use of Type H gloves and booties as well as earlier Type D garments or even combinations of both.  The overall appearance is good and although a little faded, the material is clean and apart from a small 'L' shaped repair to the backside, undamaged.  The main connector lead has been removed and the collar has minor moth damage. This is a good used example of what is now a very difficult suit to find.  Stock code S20137.
