Suits, Flying, 1940 Pattern, Outer, Size 5. Stores Ref. 22c/364. (Ht. 5'10"-5'11", Ch. 38-40", Wt. 34-36", Seat 39-41", Leg 30.5"). Early WW2 version of the Sidcot (no wiring). The material is a distinct grey colour and although faded and somewhat stained, is in good to very good overall condition. Undamaged bar a small 'snagged' area just above the waist - this is not a tear but the cotton is a bit weakened at that point - see photos. Original chromed zips throughout, various manufacturers including 'N', 'Aero' and 'Tefas'. Many are Air Ministry marked and have their original cloth puller tabs. All are functional although some have a few teeth missing in places. With cloth hanger, belt and label. This example has added cuff trim in grey fur. This was a relatively common period modification.
