Ministry of Information press photo, approximately 25 x 20cm (10 x 8").  Captioned to rear  'Interior of an air ambulance which was one of two provided for the RAF by the 'Silver Thimble Fund'.  17,0000 thimbles were melted to provide hospitals, field ambulances and x-ray sets for the forces.'  A little dog-eared at the edges and has pin holes in the corners otherwise quite good.  Stock code P 19764.
