US Army Air Forces Manual No.1 - 'Shoot The Bull!' P/b, approximately 18 x 15cm, 47p, October 1943.  Published by training aids division AAF in collaboration with AAFIS (Fixed Gunnery), AAF Training Command with grateful acknowledgement to the Air Ministry for permission to reproduce portions of the RAF publication A.P.2580A - 'Bag The Hun!'    The introduction states that combat films proved that many attacks against enemy aircraft were unsuccessful due to the incorrect estimation of opening range and wrong deflection.  This now rare booklet was produced to provide instruction and practice in these fundamentals and improve a pilot's accuracy in combat shooting.  Chapters on estimation of range, deflection and other factors to be taken into account when firing at enemy aircraft.  Written in easily understandable language with cartoon drawings etc.  Slightly dog-eared corners and minor soiling/creasing but in very good used condition.  Complete with  card and acetate 'mask' for use with the booklet.  Stock code P20133.
