By Elgin. 1942 contract date. Black dial with Arabic numerals. Luminous hands and sweep second hand. 16-jewel 'hack' lever escapement movement. The 'waterproof' case is good but does have some scratching, small 'ding's and light tarnishing. The dial is very good but the second hand has some surface corrosion. The crystal is also good but does have some scratches. Fitted with what appears to be an original olive drab fabric strap, the eyelets of which have verdigris deposits. The watch case has AAF markings to the rear. The movement and 'hack' facility appear to be in very good working order and the watch is keeping good time. Stock code C20326.
