RAF 1933 Pattern Flying Gauntlets

Gauntlets, Flying, 1933 Pattern.  Stores reference 22c/264/269. Size 8. The leather is in good condition showing average use and wear. There is minor abrasion and surface nicks on the finger but nothing of significance.  The gloves are reasonably clean bar some grime of the palms and fingers. They remain supple and are a good colour match with clear Air Ministry King's crown and A.I.D. markings inside. Both are named to 'Fawcett' and one has a clear 1941 date.  Very good brass 'Lightning' zips - both complete with leather pull tabs.  A nice pair of these Battle of Britain period gloves.
