Operators' Handbook for the Lancastrian Aircraft, AVRO Type '691'. Published by A.V.Roe & Co. Ltd., Manchester, April 1945.  Card covers, 15 x 23cm. Approximately 86p plus around 20 pullout diagram/charts at the back. The book covers numerous parts of the aircraft and the diagrams include those for the rigging instructions,hydraulic circuits, flying controls, fuel system, oil systems, oxygen system, jacking of the aircraft etc.  The manual was prepared for the use of operators handling civil aircraft and was not intended for use of members of the services. It also notes that due to war conditions no amendments would be issued.  Each copy had an individual reference number, 170 in this case.  The cover is a bit dog-eared at the edges.  The pages and diagrams are good bar some minor tears where the diagrams have been folded.
