Deep mauve/purple rayon scarf with hand embroidered RAF King's crown crest to one end. Contrasting pale blue tasselled ends. Approx. 110 x 21cm. Typical of those made from patterns by wives and girlfriends of fighter pilot airman and worn to help prevent neck chafing during combat manoeuvres. Light marking/staining and a small fray but in good used condition overall. Stock code M20034.
