Dark chocolate brown rayon scarf with hand embroidered RAF King's crown pilot wing to one end. Matching tasselled ends. Approx. 116 x 20cm. Typical of those made from patterns by wives and girlfriends of fighter pilot airman and worn to help prevent neck chafing during combat manoeuvres. Light marking, possibly from an overly hot iron that has left some areas slightly shiny. Peppered wth small holes in places but these do not detract from what is a very nice looking scarf.
