Stores reference 6A/1275. Bakelite cased, approximately 6cm diameter.  Self starting 8-day movement with a centre second hand.  The bezel is screwed in and red-painted dummy hour and minute hands are suspended inside the cover glass.  These hands can be set by turning two knurled knobs in the centre of the glass.  The clock is wound and hands set with a spring loaded knob projecting from the lower right corner.  Black dial with green Arabic numerals - part luminous.  The backplate of the case has been trimmed by removing the three mount holes and the bezel is cracked.  The glass is also chipped at the centre where the dummy hands are attached.  Good dial with reference numbers and 1944 date code.  War department broad arrow and Air Ministry marks on the back of the case.  Good working condition.  This type of clock was used in some models of Ansons, Battles, Beaufighters, some Spitfires, Beauforts, Sunderlands, Austers, Lancasters and Mosquitos.  Stock code C20597.
