RAF 1941 Pattern Flying Boots

Stores Ref. 22c/752. Size 9. The brown suede uppers have some minor spot marking but remain in very good condition and have no damage. The rubber 'galosh' section is complete and flexible on both boots.  The heel sections are quite rigid but this is normal and exactly as they were manufactured. Excellent brass 'W' zips with War Department broad arrow marks. The original 'Itshide' soles and 'Harefoot' heels show virtually no use whatsoever.  The ankle straps have light surface marking but both brass buckles are excellent bar light verdigris deposits. The linings are very good and complete with insoles. Faint Air Ministry reference markings, size and A.I.D stamps on the zip tongues. These are also named to the owner.  These boots have clearly been issued but have evidently only been used a couple of times.  A lovely pair.   Stock code B20619.
