RAF MK.3 Flying Jacket - 1960s

'Overalls, Flying, Cold Weather Mark 3 Jacket'.  Stores ref. 22/2573, Size 3 (height 5'4" - 5'7", weight 148lb max). 1967 dated. Rare early grey version of this popular jacket. The material is generally in good/sound condition but there is some fraying and loss of material at the waist hem (see photo).  The jacket is a little faded and soiled, the latter mainly at the neck and cuff areas.   All zips are original and function correctly. Complete with integral hood stowed within the jacket and accessed via a zip to the rear of the collar. Two labels, the larger of which is partially unstitched. Good used overall. Commonly found in green but these early models are rare and highly sought after. Stock code J20947.
