RAF C-type Flying Helmet - Late Pattern

Stores Ref. 22c/880, Size 4. The leather is in excellent condition, very supple and clean with virtually all of the original chromed finish.   All straps are good and four of the five retain most of the original coatings on the press studs. The lining has average even soiling - more rubbing on the donuts and nape of the neck as usual.  The rubber receiver carriers are excellent and completely flexible.  The chinstrap is faded and frayed at the edges but does retain good elasticity. Fully wired with a light tan coloured loom, 10A/13466 receivers and black cased bell jackplug. A very good example in the largest size made. Stock code H20793/4.
